The latest edition of Easy CD Creator is causing a few problems for many PC owners around the world.
Users running version 5 of the popular CD-burning software who are also using Windows 2000 have experienced all manner of problems, ranging from the so-called 'Blue Screen Of Death' through to an inability to reboot PCs after the program has been installed.
Roxio, developer of the Easy CD package, admitted in a press release that its software may be to blame for the many problems Windows 2000 Professional users have suffered.
However, the company insists that the number of people affected by the glitches represent just a small percentage of the total number of users.
Just as we were going to press with this issue, Roxio announced a software patch designed to fix the problems. The patch can be downloaded here.
