Viewsonic has released two new flatscreen monitors aimed at the professional market. The P225F and P95F have completely flat faces despite being based on traditional CRT technology.
With a viewable display of 22in, the P225F PerfectFlat model is intended for graphically intense and specialist applications. The recommended resolution is 1600x1200pixels at a refresh rate of 99Hz, but it can reach a maximum of 2048x1536 at 79Hz and will cost an estimated £802.53.
Still aimed at graphic designers, but with a display three inches smaller, the P95F PerfectFlat is part of the Professional Series. It supports a maximum resolution of 1920x1440pixels at 77Hz (recommended setting of 1280x1024 at 107Hz) and costs £434.75.
Both monitors come with an OnView onscreen display, E-Colour True Internet Color and Colorific colour management software, and a three-year on-site warranty.
