Elonex is set to include the new 600MHz chip in its Resilience servers, ProSentia desktops and Esperon workstations. At the top end of the consumer models, the ProSentia 3000 also comes with 128Mb of RAM, a massive 17.5Gb hard disk, a 6x DVD-ROM drive and a 17in monitor, and is priced at £1,692.
Time's 500-2 FamilyPC+ might not have the catchiest of names, but with the new 500MHz Celeron processor, 64Mb of RAM, an 8.4Gb hard disk, an Epson 300 colour printer and an A4 flatbed scanner, at £797 it represents great value for money.
Tiny is offering the PIII 600 in its "Ultimate Performance" system for £1,702, with the Celeron 500 making an appearance in the "Home Premium" and "Business Executive" systems, aimed at home and business users respectively.
The former retails at £938.82, with the latter slightly more expensive, costing £1,173.82.
Finally, Viglen is another manufacturer to join in the fun, offering both new processors across its desktop PC range.
