Following the success of its Voodoo 2 products, Techworks has announced its first 3Dfx Banshee-based graphics card.
The Power Grafx offers 2D and 3D acceleration, and is available in both PCI and AGP versions. The 128-bit board is compatible with Direct 3D, OpenGL and Glide software, and comes fitted with 16Mb of fast SGRAM memory.
It costs £76.38.
Meanwhile, both Diamond and ATI have updated their products to provide optimum performance with Intel's Pentium III processor.
Diamond has posted new drivers for its excellent Viper V550, while ATI has tuned its new Rage 128 chipset, as used on its new Fury card, to make full use of the new PIII functions. Both graphics cards are reviewed in our group test starting on p98.
