Fashion retailer New Look is trialling online interactive forums in a bid to boost its customer data analysis.

The web community allows the use of interactive tools for visitors to contribute opinions, comment and feedback and is being tested by a select number of users.

By introducing the Web 2.0-style offering, New Look hopes to gain more commercial and actionable insights from customer data.

“We are always looking into new, fresh innovative techniques to give us a better understanding of our customer and this is one of those methods,” said New Look’s customer insight executive Davie Taylor.

“The speed of data capture is important so that we can respond quickly to customer feedback,” said Taylor.

Supplier eDigitalResearch is providing the service.
