Accessories company Exspect is attempting to tackle the problem of dead batteries when on the move with the Recharge4, which gives extra life to devices such as a mobile phone or MP3 player.

Available in three versions for mobile phones, portable gaming devices and MP3 players, the Recharge4 batteries, which cost £40, have enough power for four full charges.

Each Recharge4 battery is supplied with adapters for most popular devices. For example the gaming battery supports the Sony PSP, Nintendo DS, DS Lite, GBA, GBA SP and GameBoy Micro. They can be charged while plugged into the device, effectively charging both at the same time.
