Most digital cameras can record video, but the quality is never as good as a dedicated camcorder. The JVC Everio GZ-HD10 can record precious memories with high-definition quality, preserving as much detail as possible.
Computeractive has teamed up with JVC to give away one of these attractive camcorders, worth £549, along with four Everio Colours standard-definition GZ-MG330 camcorders, each worth £279.
The GZ-HD10 uses a built-in 40GB hard disk to store up to 16 hours of high-definition video. It is also faster to start recording than other camcorders and can play high-definition video on suitable televisions using its built-in HDMI socket. It comes with an adapter cable for normal televisions, a power adapter, a remote control and software.
As well as capturing more detail in video, the GZ-HD10 can record all the colours that the human eye can see. It can group similar scenes together and create a video montage of scenes.
Four runners-up will win a JVC Everio Colours GZ-MG330 camcorder, each worth £279. Like the GZ-HD10, these camcorders record to a hard disk. The camcorder has 20 preset title screens to add to recordings, reducing the amount of editing required later.
