Display important information on the Desktop

If you use more than one computer with a keyboard, video and Mouse (KVM) switch, it can be easy to get confused between the different systems.

BGInfo is a simple but useful utility from Microsoft that adds a variety of information to the desktop.

What is particulary clever about this utility is that it makes a copy of the current wallpaper with the information added to it.

Although this means it does not display dynamic information such as battery life, the advantage is that there is no impact to the computer's performance.
