Word Processing for writers

PageFour is a word processor designed for writing without the business focus of Microsoft Word. Documents are called Notebooks and have pages added with folders for organisation.

The usual tools for writing, including live spell checking are present and the word count can either count the whole document or a selection. There is a good selection of formatting options including line spacing as well as the essential bold, italic and underline.

Documents are saved automatically every 2 minutes and snapshots preserve different versions for trying out radical ideas with text. Snapshots are only kept for 7 days by default but it is possible to extend this to 20 days.

Pages can be password protected and exported in text, Rich Text format or Word
