The workers were fired following a three-month inquiry, in which a further
101 employees were disciplined by managers.
The DVLA stated that the sacked workers had used the organisation's computer
systems to send pornographic images out of the building, which broke the
agency's code of conduct.
An employee told a local newspaper that a lot of staff were unhappy at
receiving the images on their machines. "It is everywhere, it is hardcore and
very offensive," the employee said.
The agency had previously sacked a 24 year-old female employee after she
filmed herself on a mobile phone having sex and sent the clip to 300 DVLA staff.
