The Intel Developer Forum is with us again. The annual technology fest will see the chip giant showcasing its existing hot product offerings, in addition to revealing the future strategies that will inevitably do much to shape the computing environment of tomorrow.
A key thread running through this year's proceedings will be energy efficiency. Systems developers and engineers will hear keynotes highlighting how the firm's research and development in architecture, silicon, platforms and software is attempting to deliver energy-efficient computing performance.
Technology topics being showcased at the latest IDF include Intel's vision for the digital home, mobility and the digital enterprise.
There will be much discussion on developments such as the Intel Core micro-architecture for desktop, mobile and server processors designed to deliver improved levels of energy-efficient performance.
In addition, the showcase area will feature the latest Intel technology demos as well as representatives from more than 300 other companies.
